Dr David Sutcliffe

Dr Sutcliffe graduated from medical school at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom in 2006. He spent the next 4 years working in a wide range of specialties to develop a wealth of knowledge and experience. These specialties included General Medicine, Diabetes & Endocrinology, Geriatric Medicine, Accident & Emergency, Infectious Diseases, Orthopaedics & Trauma, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Psychiatry.

He has worked as a GP since 2010, along with gaining further postgraduate accreditation in endocrinology and diabetes. He has a wealth of international experience having worked in the United Kingdom, North America and Australia utilising the best aspects of each healthcare system in his day-to-day practice.

He has a passion for providing patient centered care, using the latest technologies such as pharmacogenomics to help tailor management plans to each patient. His specialist interests include diabetes, weight management, men’s health, mental health, cardiology and chronic disease management. He is a strong believer in being proactive and will be offering health assessments supporting his ideology for preventative and lifestyle medicine.

Dr Sutcliffe has always enjoyed mentoring our future doctors and has worked for multiple medical schools including the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. His current roles include Clinical Senior Lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Notre Dame Fremantle.

Outside of his professional life Dr Sutcliffe resides locally with his family. He enjoys a wide range of hobbies including swimming, soccer and music. In his younger years he played for the Premiership Football Club Everton FC Academy before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. He continues to be an optimistic supporter of the team.
